About Cheyenne’s Bridge
A Bridge Built by Love, Recovery, and Second Chances
Cheyenne's Bridge wasn't created in a boardroom or by people looking for a business opportunity. It was created by people who were given a second chance at life and decided they couldn't keep it to themselves.
There was a time when I was lost. Addiction had taken me places I never imagined I would go. I had lost faith in myself, forgotten my worth, and spent years believing I was too far gone to ever come back. There were nights I shouldn't have survived and roads I should have never walked down. Yet somehow, through all of it, one soul never gave up on me.
Her name was Cheyenne.
Cheyenne wasn't just my dog. She was my guardian angel. When I had forgotten how to love myself, she loved me anyway. When I believed there was nothing left worth fighting for, she stayed. When addiction burned my life to the ground, she walked through the fire with me and never let me face it alone. She didn't care about my mistakes, my failures, my past, or who I had become. She only cared that I was still here.
Her unconditional love reminded me of something I had forgotten: that I was still worth saving.
That realization became the first step toward recovery.
Sobriety gave me my life back. It gave me purpose. It gave me the opportunity to serve others instead of living only for myself. Through recovery, God placed two incredible men in my path— Ryan "Nix" Nix and George "Greek" Evangelou. What started as friendships built through recovery became a shared vision. We had all experienced struggle. We had all fought our own battles. And we all believed that recovery isn't something we keep for ourselves—it's something we give away.
Together, we began building the dream that became Cheyenne's Bridge.
We wanted to create the kind of place we wished existed when we needed it most. A place where people are seen instead of judged. A place where hope is restored. A place where accountability, community, purpose, and compassion come together. A place where someone can begin rebuilding a life they no longer want to escape from.
That's why Cheyenne's Bridge exists.
Not because we've read about recovery. Not because we've studied it from a distance. Because we've lived it.
We've known the fear, the loneliness, the hopelessness, and the feeling of believing there is no way out. We've also experienced the miracle of recovery, the power of community, and what can happen when someone finally believes they are worthy of a better life.
Today, Cheyenne's spirit lives on in every person who walks through our doors. Her legacy is a reminder that sometimes the thing that saves a life isn't a program or a building. Sometimes it's love. The kind of love that refuses to give up on someone until they remember their own worth.
At Cheyenne's Bridge, we're committed to helping people find that worth again. We provide a safe, supportive, and accountable environment where recovery can take root, purpose can grow, and lives can be rebuilt.
Because recovery gave us our lives back.
Now it's our turn to help others find theirs.
